Below, Section 15, SE 1/4: Amish schoolhouse on Cty NN. Millions of gallons of liquid manure would be stored just past the curve in the road. This parcel has an area at its western edge which is steep and eroding, causing the formation of a deep gully in the woods down below. The gully leads to the Bad Axe River.

Below, Section 24, SE 1/4: View is looking west off Black River Road north of Liberty Pole. Ridges and valleys characteristic of Vernon County's landscape are clearly observed. Residents are documenting Karst features, which are prevalent. Several residents close to this site have noticed new springs in the last couple of years.
